Enterprising students from Year 11 at Nailsea School have been excelling in their Business Studies lessons.
The students are tasked with setting up a small business, writing a business plan, branding and marketing the business, promoting events and managing the finances.
Businesses include ‘Cleaning with Style’ and ‘M&M Entertainments’ and the groups are all operating at a profit already and will now work on enhancing and developing their business over the remainder of the year.
Teacher and Head of House, Mrs Shoesmith, said: “I’m really impressed with the students’ creativity and commitment with this task. They have had to quickly build new skills like negotiating, customer service, detailed planning and organising and they have worked hard at this.
“The groups have all received lots of compliments about their professionalism and enthusiasm and I’m really proud of their achievements.”
