There is sure to be a host of golden daffodils on show along with containers of other spring flowers and colourful arrangements at the annual Yatton Spring Show.

The annual show, which is organised by the Yatton Horticultural Society, takes place on Saturday, March 17 at the Yatton Village Hall, The Causeway, Yatton, from 2-4.30pm.

There will be lots of classes of daffodil varieties as well as other flower and potted plants classes.

If plants are not your thing, then you can try your hand at a cherry cake, a painting or a photograph. The organisers are also looking forward to children using their skills at art or cookery.

Schedules and entry forms are available at Yatton News (Clive’s) and Yatton Hardware and DIY Store, or a member of the committee.

Entry to the show is £1 for adults and accompanied children under the age of 16 can get in for free.

Please bring all your entries to the hall by 10.30am on the morning of the show ready for judging.
