Clevedon School students have had a stunning exchange trip visit to their partner school in Greece.

The amazing students performed a play which they wrote on Socratic thought, on the opening night of a literary festival in Athens at their partner school.

They also learned Greek Dancing and took a trip to the top of the Acropolis in a fun, action and education-packed visit.

Following the play, students led a discussion with Greek students on democracy in education, and then had a chance to explore ancient Athens and museums and retell myths in Sounion outside the temple of Poseidon.

Last year Clevedon School hosted their partnership school, Pierce School, in Somerset and Bath. The two schools have partnered in months of work involving e-twinning; Skype chats between the schools and work around the Global Goals and sustainable development.

Jo Carrington, Head of English, said: “This was such an amazing trip. They have learned so much and they have made life-long friendships.”
