2nd Nailsea Scouts took part in air rifle shooting at their headquarters in Hannah More Road, Nailsea at a recent troop night.
The group also has a thriving club night once a month where scouts can take part in additional shooting practice, leading to their master at arms badge and the chance to enter shooting competitions.
2nd Nailsea has three qualified shooting instructors and shooting is carried out in a strictly controlled environment with safety being of the utmost importance. Shooting teaches responsibility and concentration to the scouts.
2nd Nailsea Scouts has places for boys and girls in beavers age six-eight, cubs age eight-10, scouts age 10-14 and explorer scouts age 14–18.
